quiet Avenues

quiet Avenues serves as the housing station for both the artistic and thematic direction of quiet. Think of it as a place where ideas go to percolate and mature into a full fledged season of events. Since quiet is an organization based in community and partnership, we want to make the process of deciding what is performed and when a collaborative process. This team works directly with the Artistic Director and strives to develop criteria for suitability as well as an inclusive process that actively recruits projects from all media genres.

  • Responsibilities
    • Create the guidelines and criteria used in evaluating the suitability of quiet projects and proposals.
    • Develop project submission procedures.
    • Solicit projects for the 2011 season that explore quiet’s theme – enGender Bender: Exploring our social blueprints.
    • Evaluate projects for the 2011 season.
    • Set the 2011 season.
    • Work with quiet EXCHANGE to set the 2012 season theme.
